Location, Location and Location. Corinthia is on the doorstep of London’s big landmarks – The London Eye, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace are all but a short walk away. Also, within walking distance is London’s bustling life and theatre scene Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square and West End.

The Lobby Lounge makes a dramatic first impression by housing one of the most beautiful chandeliers I have ever seen. After being astonished for about 2 or 3 minutes and while my dad was doing the check in, I took a stroll around the lobby and once again, been amazed by all the wintery decorations.

Corinthia London also features a British cuisine restaurant, an Italian restaurant and one of the bests afternoon teas in the whole city. Apart from two more bars, it also features an elegant indoor garden where serve both meals and drinks by the fireplace.

From the impressive lobby, we were led to our bedroom which felt perfectly indulgent. As we entered our Family Room, we mindlessly removed our shoes and walked barefoot on the hot ground.

The room was quite large for London with two king-sized luxurious beds, a separated dressing room, an Italian marble bathroom and a plenty basket of fresh fruit to welcome us.

After a long day exploring London, it was quite a treat to come back to a bath with salts and a movie to watch in its deep tub.

But first off sleeping, you have to check the quality of the bed, jumping on it (of course!), if it doesn’t break it means you can sleep safely. So, it not only didn’t broke but was also very comfortable! Maybe, if my sister jumped with me…, but she’s kinda boring…😴

Corinthia London RoomOther room highlights included a Nespresso machine, generous furnishings, books and video games consoles and games available upon request! Like staying at home, away from home! 😁

From the bellman who opened the door of our black cab when we arrived the first day to the one who said us goodbye the last day and passing through the delicious meals at the two different restaurants, the evenings spent by the fireplace drinking cocktails and mocktails, the Christmas stockings on Christmas Day and all the little presents waiting for us everytime we entered the room… made our Christmas a better one.

I couldn’t leave Corinthia Hotel London without visiting its spa before. Run by ESPA, the spa spread over four floors and features 17 treatment rooms, a nail studio, an indoor pool, ice fountain, marble heated loungers and private sleep pods. The spa café complements the overall offering by serving light, nutritious refreshments. I only went to the indoor pool and although it’s not so large, the time I visited I had it to myself.

The hotel also features a gym opened 24 hours a day and consists of Powerplates, Kettlebells, TRX and Trixster Bikes along with a team of expert personal trainers on hand to assist you throughout your workout.

This hotel is in a great location, it would save a lot of time traveling around to see the sites. I’ve on seen a bed that size on MTV cribs, I think it was R Kellys home. Like you say it’s good in London to find a room of decent size. I always like to have a gym in my hotel but then again I would have been in front of the fire all night enjoying the cocktails!

That was definitely a beautiful chandelier! The room looks gorgeous too and definitely comfortable (after you’ve jumped on the bed to test it haha). The hotel’s location is also great!

This hotel sounds fantastic. We love its proximity to the big landmarks. And the style and decor are lovely and inviting. We’ll check it out next time in London.

It looks like a great hotel. I normally end up in the travelodge when I visit London but I would love to stay here. The reception area and rooms look so nice 🙂

This hotel looks great! Very luxurious, and the location second to none. Any hotel that greets you with fruit is a winner in my eyes haha.

This looks like a beautiful hotel and a great place to base yourself when exploring London. Being so close to those major attractions would make sightseeing so much easier!

Looks super luxurious! This is how I would have liked to experience London for the first time-in a nice hotel close to everything instead of being dumped in the airport with 24 hours to explore all the while carrying my bags along with me. It was horrible, yet I still fell in love with the city and went back and the next time I lived there for over a year.

I’m not normally one for hotels but I have to admit that staying in one as luxurious as this would be nice once in a while. I’ve been to two while travelling and it’s always a little funny to give my dirty backpack to a bell boy. That bathroom looks amazing. I’m a sucker for marble finishing!
